Maryborough Magistrates Court

Maryborough Magistrate Court is situated at 170 Richmond Street, Maryborough. The District Court at Maryborough also sits within the same complex.

The Maryborough Magistrates Court deals with summary criminal matters, including traffic matters. The District Court deals with serious indictable criminal matters. Accordingly, should you be charged with an indictable offence in the Maryborough area, it will be committed to the District Court at Maryborough.

Maryborough is a busy court with many sitting days. The presiding magistrate also circuits to Bundaberg, Childers, and Gayndah to hear matters in those courts. Circuit runs for up to one week at a time, meaning that Maryborough matters cannot be listed during those periods.
