Dandenong Magistrates Court

The Dandenong Magistrates Court is located at 56 Deakin Avenue, Dandenong and operates from Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm.

The Magistrates Court is the court where all criminal matters involving adults commence. It is also the court that hears summary criminal matters including traffic offences, and domestic violence order applications. While the Dandenong Magistrates Court deals with criminal matters where the accused is aged 18 or older, it also deals with civil matters and intervention order matters on certain days.

If you have a matter in the Dandenong Magistrates Court, make sure you arrive at court well before the time your matter is listed to be heard. You should be neatly and conservatively dressed, and you should come prepared to be at court for most of the day.
